INTERVENTION PLAN

After watching the film Dropout Nation we were tasked with the project of creating an intervention plan using our Pre-referral intervention manual or PRIM.

The PRIM is a book that lists over 4,000 different approaches to many different problems that students may cause or have. Figuring out the overall problem that the student is having will lead the user to a list of solutions that the teacher may attempt to try with the student.

The project was to choose our "favorite" student from the film and create an intervention plan for the student. "Interventions plans are to short and to the point about the problem, solution, and background of the student. You will not be the only person to view an intervention plan; other teacher, your principle, therapists, and other officials may need to view these as well" stated my instructor.
