NEW YORK SCHOOLS ACTIVITY
This project was designed to put us into the shoes of a middle schooler living in New York. Unlike other cities New York has around 1,700 different schools and they have over a billion students to either accept or deny. Students apply to a variety of high schools and the high schools choose which students to deny or accept.
Using the NYC Department of Education 2017 New York City High School Directory, we chose different schools and listed contact information, interesting classes, academic groups, and athletic groups we would be interested in partaking.

My top choice was the Astor Collegiate Academy and their Science & Technology program. Not only does this class offer various AP credit courses such as Statistics, but they also have a female bowling team run through the school.
